New Student Enrollment

Welcome to Horizon High School, Home of the Hawks!

Please select which enrollment pertains to your student below and follow the process on how to register your student at Horizon High.

 

Option 1: New Students to OCPS (this includes entering from other states, FL counties, FLVS Full Time or private school):

 

  • Check to see if you live within Horizon High's school zone through OCPS interactive zoning map.
  • Click on this link to complete the registration documentation: New Students to OCPS.
  • Once you have completed the registration documentation, Make an Appointment with  Diana Williams, our Horizon High Registrar, to submit your completed documentation. 
  • Before your appointment, please have your student complete the Course Registration Form to the best of their ability. Counselors will review the course requests along with academic history provided upon enrollment to create the best schedule for your student. 

 

Option 2: Students entering Horizon from another OCPS school (including OCPS Home Education, OCVS Full Time, OCVS/FLVS Flex, etc.):

 

  • Check to see if you live within Horizon High's school zone through OCPS interactive zoning map.
  • Click on this link to complete the registration documentation: Changing OCPS Schools.
  • Once you have completed the registration documentation, Make an Appointment with Diana Williams, our Horizon High Registrar, to submit your completed documentation. 
  • Before your appointment, please have your student complete the Course Registration Form to the best of their ability. Counselors will review the course requests along with academic history provided upon enrollment to create the best schedule for your student.

School Withdrawal

  • Email Martha Guido ([email protected]) or complete the Intent to Withdrawal form at Horizon High's front office.
  • Ms. Guido will contact the parent/guardian to set an in-person appointment time to complete the withdrawal and pick up the withdrawal documentation. Please allow 48 hours for preparation of the withdraw documentation. 
  • At the time of the appointment, the parent/guardian will need to sign the official withdrawal form, provide a parent/guardian ID, return the school issued computer and charger and pay any accompanying fines, if applicable (Example: Missing or Broken computer/charger, books, etc).
