Principal’s Message

Brian Sanchez Corona Headshot Text that reads Welcome to Horizon

As I prepare to officially begin my journey as Principal of Horizon High School, I am filled with excitement and gratitude. Go Hawks!

I look forward to serving Horizon High School and the wider Horizon West Community. There is a palpable momentum here that is already visible and felt, and I am committed to supporting that energy as we strive toward becoming the number one elite public school experience in the State of Florida.

Spending time on campus this past week truly felt like I was going home—back to Hawk Country. I loved reconnecting with past students and meeting new ones. This principalship is an extra special blessing to me because this year’s class of Seniors was my very first class of Water Spring Wildcats! It is a privilege to see how far they have come, and I am honored to be here for this chapter of their journey.

I look forward to carrying on our cherished traditions while listening and responding to the needs of our students and community moving forward.

It is the perfect season to express what I am thankful for. I am deeply grateful for the support of my family and for our shared community.

As we keep moving forward, please know that my "staffulty" and I will work tirelessly to ensure that our Hawks have the most premier, engaging, enjoyable, memorable, and academically rigorous experiences possible.

When you see me at events, on campus, or in the car line, please say hello. I look forward to meeting you and continuing to build our future together.
