Please review and use the information below to assist you with registration for the upcoming school year. Most of the questions that are asked to Student Services, the answers are located in the resources provided on our website or Student Body Canvas. Please make sure you read through all of the resources.

Course Registration for Rising Grades 10-12

 Please refer to the 2026-2027 Course Registration module in Student Body Canvas. Course registration resources for current students are listed in Student Body Canvas.

• January 22: Registration in Xello – Link to 26-27 Class Registration Presentation
• January 27: Academic Parent Night 5:30-7:30PM, Starts in Horizon PAC at 5:30PM
• January 23 – January 30: Xello Course Registration Form COMPLETION via OCPS Launchpad – Horizon Grade 10-12 Course Offerings

  • Students can enter courses in their Xello using a device at home or school. Parents need to review their student’s courses PRIOR to the student SUBMITTING them in XELLO.
  • Students can ONLY choose the courses that Horizon offers: Horizon Grade 10-12 Course Offerings. If you choose a class will do not offer, you will have to select another course.

• January 23 – January 30: Xello Course Registration Form COMPLETION via OCPS Launchpad – Horizon Grade 9 Course Offerings

(We know there might be some scheduling problems in Xello. Please do your best. Counselors can help with concerns at your February meeting).

• February 8 – 12: Horizon Counselors visit Middle Schools for student course registration meetings
  • February 9: Water Spring Middle School
  • February 10: Hamlin Middle School
  • February 12: Bridgewater Middle School and Horizon West Middle School
• Spring 2026 (date TBD): Students and parents will receive an email from Student Services with updated course requests and the add/drop form to make any changes again at this time, if there is availability in courses to make changes.
• August 2026: Course Schedules become available via Skyward.
